There are no work-related announcements, but I do have some personal updates.
I made a small update to my website.
I slightly changed the layout, made the background color milky white, and added borders in various places.
This is because, while reading Nagano’s manga, I realized that I really like manga panel borders (is "borders" the right term? Panel dividers?).
Inside the lines, every inch of space is packed with drawings, words, and the activities of that world, while outside the lines, it’s completely blank. There’s something about that contrast that feels really satisfying to look at.
So, I decided to display borders on my website as well.
Currently, I’m exploring ideas for the "play?" section in room333.
I originally wanted to publish an explanation for my solo project in January, but after revising it over and over again, I’m still not satisfied, and the process keeps dragging on.
That’s not ideal—I know it’s not—but since I’m going to post it anyway, I’d like to take just a little more time to refine it.
In January, I caught the flu, and then right after that, I got a stomach flu. It was truly rough and quite painful.
Not only was it hard to get out of bed, but even just lying down hurt.
That said, I found a new way to enjoy mochi and ate a lot of it, met up with my best friend who came to visit from Taiwan, and despite the chaos, I had some happy moments.
There are songs I want to write, things I want to do, skills I want to acquire, topics I want to deeply explore, and experiences I want to etch into my brain.
On top of that, there are so many games I want to play, books I want to read, and instruments I want to practice.
I still feel like I haven’t quite found my rhythm for this year.
But this year, I want to create even more works than I did last year.
