Music by Kensuke Ushio.
I took part in the soundtrack production as arranger and pianist.
The soundtrack was released on the film’s opening day, September 19, and is available for streaming here.
That said, I personally recommend listening to it on CD…
I contributed to tracks 4, 9, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30.
I hope you enjoy it!
Music by Taro Umebayashi.
I joined as pianist and arranger for The Summer Hikaru Died, and the soundtrack is now available on streaming platforms.
I played piano for all tracks except the choral pieces, and arranged track 18.
I’d be delighted if you could check it out.
That’s the news for this month.
About September
It suddenly feels like autumn here in Japan.
The other day I had some grilled Sanma, which was delicious. For me, autumn is definitely “the season of appetite,” followed by “the season of reading.”
I’ve updated the Works page, mainly with the projects mentioned above.
I’m also working on writing the commentary page for Solo Project .
It’s been five years since I started planning the EP and three years since its release. I’ve been thinking about the text all along,
but it’s been hard to put everything together.
Since I imagine those who visit and read the page will really enjoy going through it, I don’t think I’ll be able to publish everything at once.
Instead, I’ll update it bit by bit.
I’d also like to compose some new short pieces, though I’m not sure how many I’ll be able to complete by the end of the year.
Beyond music, there are several things I’d like to try out on this website too, so I’m working on them little by little.
It may be at a turtle’s pace, but I’ll keep moving forward steadily.
